| G-60 ANNA HACKMAN, KEITA IOKA, ANNA HACKMAN In my work I use the application of opposites, i.e. light – dark and rough - smooth. Opposites will complement each other and provide contrast as well as perspective in your everyday life. The opposite parts become more visible and then meld in with the whole. I don’t always plan what my work will look like when finished; instead it evolves as I work. During the process I feel excited to see the outcome, while I remind myself to allow for the creation to take its form without restriction. You have to let it go with the flow. KEITA IOKA It is crucial for an artist to find own material, something unique, in order to express oneself through that material. Like a musician has to find own tone and melody. DAN PALMGREN
Ice and snow are combined, steam and fog obscuring the viewers mental vision of the horizon as well as the perspective - one knows no difference between sky, wave or ice.
I have in this group of pictures tried to capture that what has in nature given me a mystical experience.
My personal criteria for this exhibition has been that the final draft should make my head spin, else I am not satisfied!
